WaterTouch™ Technology
The simplest path beyond
single-use plastic.
WaterTouch™ is a patented sugarcane-based resin that helps brands transition away from conventional plastics without redesigning existing manufacturing lines. Designed for companies preparing for EPR regulations, California SB 54, and the next generation of sustainable packaging.

Material science,
built from what
is left over.
Culture Organics is a biomaterials company. We take sugarcane waste — the fibrous byproduct left behind after harvest — and turn it into a resin that replaces single-use plastic in the products people touch every day.
- Made from waste, not fossil fuels
- Our feedstock is an upcycled agricultural byproduct. Nothing is grown to be turned into plastic, and no petroleum enters the material.
- WaterTouch™ decides when it disappears
- Our patented technology controls when and how the material dissolves. Under defined conditions it dissolves completely — no fragments, no microplastics, nothing left behind.
- It runs on the lines you already own
- The resin drops into existing manufacturing without retooling or product redesign, so switching materials does not mean rebuilding a production line.
We work with partners three ways: private label development, licensing and material supply, and custom formulation.

Applications
What the material becomes.
WaterTouch™ is a resin, not a single product. It runs on the lines that already exist across categories sharing little except a dependence on single-use plastic.

Coating is where the material separates from most alternatives: it turns existing paper stock into a barrier product without a new substrate.
Certifications & verified claims
Every claim is backed by third-party certification.
Environmental claims are verified by USDA BioPreferred®, BPI, TÜV Austria, OWS/Normec and the FDA — not self-declared.
Also verified: TÜV Austria OK Biodegradable Soil & Water (Nos. S0856 / S2506) · OWS/Normec full-mineralization study · TÜV Austria OK Biodegradable MARINE certification pending. Full certification pack available on request.
How we work
You work with the people who make the decisions.
Culture Organics partners one to one. There is no account tier between you and the people running the company.
- Direct access to leadership
- You talk to the people who set direction and can say yes — not a support queue that relays questions back to someone else.
- Built around what you actually need
- We work with each partner to get the material right for their product and their line, rather than pointing at a catalogue and asking them to adapt.
- Samples in your hands
- We send physical material out so you can run it, test it, and see how it behaves for yourself before committing to anything.
